By Private Vehicle:

Go to maps.google.com and use GALE, NY as your destination. The Gale location is on State Route 3, and Massawepie Road.(From Watertown 75 miles east on route 3; from Tupper Lake, 12 miles west on route 3). Look for the large Massawepie Scout Camps sign at Route 3.

By Commercial Airline:

The only commuter air service into the 6 million acre Adirondack Park is Adirondack Regional Airport at Saranac Lake (Airport designation: SLK). A limited flight schedule operates on a seasonal basis. The airport is about one hour from Massawepie Scout Camps, with the camping school providing PRE-ARRANGED pickup for students. See Procedure Below

Flight # 1027 - 10:24 AM
Flight # 1033 - 2:35 PM
Flight # 1037 - 7:10 PM

Departures:

Flight # 1026 - 6:25 AM

Flight # 1034 - 3:25 PM

By Bus:

Adirondack Trailways (1-800-225-6815) provides daily bus service to Saranac Lake, about a one hour drive from Massawepie Scout Camps, with the camp providing PRE-ARRANGED pickup for students. See Procedure Below

Transportation Request Procedure (for Bus and Airline arrivals only)

NCS Students desiring ground transportation to Massawepie should send an email to transport@nationalcampingschool.net with the following information:

1.  Student Name
2.  Flight / Bus Number 
3.  Arrival Time
